Namory
Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 14, 2026
Namory is a personal relationship memory app for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we handle it, and what rights you have.
1. What Data Namory Collects
Namory is designed to store all user data locally on your device.
On-device only: All notes, contacts, key dates, follow-ups, and relationship data you create in Namory are stored locally on your iPhone. This data is never transmitted to Namory's servers, because Namory has no servers that store user data.
Optional iCloud backup: If you enable iCloud backup in iOS Settings, your Namory data may be included in your iCloud backup alongside other app data. This backup is encrypted by Apple and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Namory does not have access to your iCloud backup data.
Analytics (optional, anonymous): Namory may collect anonymous, aggregate usage analytics to understand how the app is used, for example, which screens are visited most often. This data contains no personal information, no note content, and no contact details. It cannot be used to identify you.
Crash reporting: If the app crashes, Namory may collect anonymous crash logs to help diagnose and fix bugs. These logs contain no personal data.
2. What Data Namory Does Not Collect
Namory does not collect, store, or transmit:
- Your name, email address, or phone number
- The content of your notes or relationship memories
- Contact details about the people you add to Namory
- Location data
- Any data linked to your identity
Our App Store privacy label reflects this. Namory is categorized as collecting no data linked to you.
3. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
Namory offers an optional paid subscription via Apple's in-app purchase system (StoreKit). All payment processing is handled by Apple. Namory does not collect or store any payment information. Subscription management, refunds, and cancellations are handled through your Apple ID account settings.
4. Children's Privacy
Namory is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used Namory in a way that raises privacy concerns, please contact us.
5. Third-Party Services
Namory may use third-party services for crash reporting or anonymous analytics. These services are configured to collect only non-personal, aggregate data. No note content, contact names, or identifying information is ever shared with third-party services.
Apple's frameworks used by Namory, including StoreKit, WidgetKit, and iCloud, are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
6. Data Security
Because Namory stores data locally on your device, the security of your relationship data depends primarily on the security of your iPhone. We recommend:
- Enabling Face ID or Touch ID to lock your phone
- Using Namory's built-in App Lock feature, available in Settings
- Keeping iOS up to date
7. Your Rights
Since Namory does not collect personal data, there is no personal data for us to provide, correct, or delete on our end. All data you create in Namory lives on your device and is under your full control. To delete your Namory data, delete the app from your iPhone.
If you have questions about data collected through iCloud backup, please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Namory after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
