Quick Log in Namory
A fast way to capture a note while it’s fresh
Quick Log is Namory’s fastest path to saving a note about someone. It’s designed to feel completable in under a minute, right after a conversation.
What Quick Log is for
Quick Log is best for:
- A few sentences of context you do not want to forget
- A promise you made (“I said I’d send…")
- A small moment you want to remember
You can always edit the note later.
What happens when you save
When you tap Save, Namory:
- Saves the note to the person’s timeline
- Updates the person so they show up as recently active
- Gives you a chance to capture a “Next Time” item (something to bring up next time)
Backdating a note
If you are logging something later, you can change the date and hour for the note using the Change control near the bottom of the screen. This helps your timeline reflect when the conversation actually happened.
Smart hints (optional prompts)
Sometimes Quick Log will show a small prompt based on what you typed, for example:
+ Remember this date?when your note includes a date-like phrase+ Add for next time?when your note sounds like a promise or a reminder to yourself
These hints are meant to be helpful, not pushy. You can dismiss them.
Drafts
If you leave Quick Log without saving, Namory may keep your text as a draft for that person so you can come back and finish it later.
