Privacy and storage in Namory
Your relationship data stays on your device
Namory is designed to be privacy-first. Your people and notes are stored on-device, and Namory does not operate a server that stores your note content.
Where your data lives
Your Namory library (people, notes, Next Time items, and reminders) is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad.
What “on-device” means
On-device means:
- Your relationship notes are not uploaded to a Namory server.
- Your library is available even when you are offline.
Backups
Namory does not provide its own cloud sync. If you use iCloud device backup (or computer backups), Apple’s backup system may include your Namory data as part of your device backup.
If you want an additional backup you control, you can export your data from inside Namory.
Anonymous usage events
Namory may collect anonymous usage events to improve the app. These events are not your relationship content, and they are not tied to your identity.
If you prefer not to share any usage data, check whether your version of Namory includes an option to disable analytics in Settings.
Deleting data
If you delete a person, their profile and attached items are removed from the device.
If you choose Delete All Data in Settings, Namory permanently removes your library from the device. This action cannot be undone.
