People and profiles in Namory

Your library of relationships, in one place

Namory is organized around people. Each person has their own profile with notes, “Next Time” conversation items, and any dates or reminders you want to remember.

What a person profile contains

A person profile brings a few things together:

  • Notes: free-text memories you log after conversations.
  • Next Time: a short list of things you want to bring up the next time you talk.
  • Dates & Reminders: birthdays, anniversaries, and one-off dates you do not want to miss, plus task-style reminders you can check off.
  • Relationship rhythm: how often you want Namory to nudge you to reconnect.

Why Namory is “people-first”

Most of what you remember is contextual. In Namory, keeping everything under a person helps you:

  • See the latest context before you reach out.
  • Notice patterns over time, not just the last conversation.
  • Keep plans and dates tied to the person they matter to.

Where to find your people

In Namory, you will typically see people in a couple places:

  • On the People tab (your full list).
  • In Home, where recently updated people and recent notes can surface for quick access.
  • In Plan, when a person has an upcoming date, a reminder task, or a reconnect nudge.

Deleting a person

If you delete a person, Namory removes the profile and all attached notes and items from the device. If you are unsure, consider exporting your data first so you have a backup file you can keep.
