Export, import, and delete data

Namory includes tools to export your library to a file, import from a previous export, and delete your data from the device.

Exporting your data

Export creates a file you can save to Files or share (for example, via AirDrop).

In Namory, look in:

• Settings → Export Data

Exports are useful for:

• Keeping a backup you control
• Moving your library to a new device (by importing later)

Importing your data

Import reads a Namory export file and restores people and their attached items.

In Namory, look in:

• Settings → Import Data

Import is designed to avoid accidental overwrites. If a person already exists in your library, Namory may skip importing that person from the file.

Deleting all data

If you want to wipe your Namory library from the device, you can use:

• Settings → Delete All Data

This permanently removes:

• People profiles
• Notes
• Next Time items
• Dates, reminders, and tasks

This action cannot be undone.

A note about backups

If you rely on iCloud device backup, deleting data from the device can affect what is included in future backups. If you want a copy you can keep separately, export first.
